MODEST: Linford keeps his lunchbox hidden

The 55-year-old Olympic sprint champion realised his tight-fi tting ski suit would show off more than he wanted.

So he carefully positioned his skis over his famous crown jewels which have been dubbed Linford’s Lunchbox.

A source for the Channel 4 show said: “That outfit leaves nothing to the imagination.

“The other male celebrities in the contest must be gutted as they didn’t seem to have much to show off.”

TV chiefs yesterday also unveiled the scary new ski slope that the stars, including singer Sarah Harding, 34, socialite Tamara Beckwith, 45, and swimmer Rebecca Adlington, 26, will have to face.

It is higher than ever before measuring 50 metres, the height of three double decker buses.

Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle, 30, who is competing in the show, said: “Seeing it made me really excited but nervous at the same time.”

Other stars taking part include former Westlife star Brian McFadden, 35, Towie’s James “Arg” Argent, 28, and Superman star Dean Cain, 49.

The show launches on Channel 4 this Sunday at 7.30pm.
